Coming soon to Steam
A desktop version for Windows and macOS is on its way: your saves go into your own user folder, and Steam Cloud keeps them in step between your machines. 30 Steam achievements, full-screen and frame-cap settings; the menus can be driven with a controller.
You will be able to wishlist it as soon as the Steam page opens — until then, the changelog shows where it stands. The price and the release date have not been decided yet.
What the desktop version brings
- Windows and macOS builds — three peoples, 3 campaigns, 15 ready-made maps, hot-seat, the map editor.
- Saves as files, in your own user folder.
- Steam Cloud for the saves.
- 30 Steam achievements, from the first steps to the end of the campaigns.
- Display settings: windowed or full screen, frame cap.
- A controller in the menus and panels (move, A = choose, B = back).
Good to know
- Online play is switched off in the Steam version for now.
- The controller does not drive the 3D map or the battlefield: those need a mouse, keyboard or touch (Steam Deck: the touchscreen / the Steam Input mouse template).
- On Steam Deck the aim is “Playable”; it has not been tried on real Deck hardware yet.
- Manual castle defence is not in the game yet — it is planned.
